About ODG

Our story begins in 1999 as a technology incubator revolutionizing the high-tech toy industry by integrating high-performance electronics in tiny toys to create devices loved by the old and young alike.

Over the years we’ve developed multicore, cellular based handheld biometric computers; man-packable, highly portable servers; miniature UAVs; and beginning in 2008, advanced and extremely rugged smartglasses.

Today we are the leading developer and manufacturer of mobile headworn computing and augmented, virtual and mixed reality technologies and products. ODG’s growing portfolio of smartglasses deliver smarter glasses for a smarter world and is changing the way we view the world. So much bigger than a device, it’s a whole new computing medium that will transform how we interact with and discover information and engage with people and objects in the world around us.

In December 2016 ODG announced a $58 million Series A with strategic investors including 21st Century Fox, Shenzhen O-film Tech Co., Ltd., and Vanfund Urban Investment & Development Co. Ltd. It is the largest ever Series A in wearables, augmented and virtual reality.

Who We Are

We’re a little bit secretive, and we like it that way. Think of us as the David to others’ Goliaths. Or the small company that packs a big punch, but doesn’t like to shout about it. We design, develop and build. We innovate and push boundaries. We trend set. We go it alone or partner with others in pursuit of the next big thing.

Our Mission

ODG is pioneering glasses for the masses that play movies with cinematic clarity, drop you inside immersive 3D interactive experiences, and reveal new worlds of invention and productivity.

The Team

ODG is a melting pot of revolutionary minds from across the world. We have an A-Team of experts who come from a broad range of disciplines, including designers, engineers, developers and support staff.

Innovate and invent.
Patent and protect.
ODG has over 200 patents and patents pending.
That’s a pretty impressive number for such a small and stealthy company.
